Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Information Technology, Business Administration (with an IT focus), or equivalent experience
(Two years of experience may substitute for one year of education)
5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst supporting the design, development, and implementation of systems or applications
Strong experience writing business requirements, process maps, test scripts, and training materials
Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, and project management skills
Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non‑technical audiences

Nice To Haves

Financial institution or credit union experience
Certified ScrumMaster® (CSM)
Experience with Symitar Episys Quest, Servicing Director, and Akcelerant
SQL scripting for reporting and data analysis
Familiarity with Microsoft Office 365 Power Platform, Crystal Reports, and Adobe Acrobat

Responsibilities

Partnering with business units as their primary IT liaison, building trusted stakeholder relationships
Developing business process models, business requirements, user stories, and product backlogs
Managing projects to ensure on‑time, high‑quality delivery
Supporting assigned functional areas in the daily use of approved technologies, including troubleshooting and issue resolution
Collaborating on the planning, design, development, and deployment of new applications and system enhancements
Serving as the subject‑matter expert for critical business processes and member delivery channels
Leading system testing activities, including test script creation, issue tracking, and end‑user signoff
Coordinating with vendors, reviewing design documents, change orders, and billing as needed
Analyzing current systems and recommending improvements, upgrades, and optimizations
Staying current on technology trends, fintech innovations, and industry best practices
Mentoring and training junior staff as needed
Ensuring compliance with all internal policies, security standards, and applicable federal regulations (including BSA)
