About The Position

As a Senior Business Analyst at UWM, you will work alongside the application development team, interact with stakeholders and contribute on technology projects that benefit all areas of the company. Requirements

  • Computer-related degree or equivalent
  • Five years or more of business analysis experience
  • Ability to manage tasks and deliverables effectively
  • Ability to quickly become an expert in various business domains
  • Critical thinking, emotional intelligence and situational awareness
  • Ability to work well under pressure in a challenging, changing, fast-paced environment
  • Negotiation skills between application development team and business partners
  • Work with a diverse group of stakeholders including executives, leaders, direct reports, and subject matter experts
  • Deep understanding of BA role in an Agile environment
  • Understand the BA role within the Software Development Lifecycle
  • Self-motivated with a strong work ethic
  • Comfortable in a fast-moving environment
  • Ability to multitask and adapt
  • Positive attitude and willingness to learn
  • Onsite, full-time attendance

Nice To Haves

  • Mortgage or financial experience
  • Experience working with C-Level or other senior leaders
  • BPMN
  • Relational database knowledge; SQL
  • Vendor integrations and API management

Responsibilities

  • Collaborating with multiple stakeholders
  • Facilitating information gathering sessions
  • Ensuring business needs are satisfied within a given technical solution
  • Conducting business process assessments; determine as-is state
  • Performing gap analysis; creating future state roadmap and transition plans
  • Creating diagrams and models to provide additional clarity
  • Mentoring and leading junior BAs on projects
  • Coordinating User Acceptance Testing; assisting with issue resolution
  • Assisting in project vision refinement and prioritization
