About The Position

The Senior Business Analyst at Vistra will serve as the pivotal link between technology and the wider business, by optimizing the ViewPoint system landscape within Vistra. The role involves detailed business analysis, delivery of requirements catered for business & IT, solution design and problem solving. You will work closely with internal stakeholders in e.g. business, IT.

Requirements

  • Direct ViewPoint product expertise: Strong functional, (technical - a plus) of Entity Management.
  • Knowledge of the entity management client service offering, products, operational processes, data and controls.
  • Familiar with available technologies relevant to the component(s) e.g. direct experience of ViewPoint application (a plus) and in key Microsoft applications.
  • Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills.
  • Effective planning and organizational skills to manage competing time and priorities.
  • Advanced business analysis skills to understand business needs and gather requirements in a structured manner.
  • Good problem-solving skills with the ability to contribute meaningfully to solution design.
  • Competency in efficient requirements gathering and documentation, process mapping.
  • Ability to multitask and work effectively on project / BAU simultaneously.
  • Experience of working with global technical teams and applications in a services-based organization.
  • Professional fluency in written and oral English.

Responsibilities

  • Independently conduct end to end quality and timely business analysis, requirements gathering and solution design.
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders in business and IT for requirement gathering, solution design and implementation.
  • Effectively manage the prioritisation and delivery of own backlog with accountability.
  • Conduct the end to end quality and timely business analysis, including identifying and understanding the problem and business case.
  • Define the scope and requirements (functional and non functional) in a structured manner.
  • Plan comprehensive scope of analysis and conduct the analysis, including identification of root causes, dependencies & blockers drivers, inputs & outputs, assumptions validation and detailed impact analysis.
  • Design solutions in conjunction with technical feasibility.
  • Document requirements and process mapping to industry standards.
  • Work closely and manage internal stakeholders to understand the business and business requirements.
  • Effectively present technical information that is easily digestible by business users.
  • Translate business requirements to system requirements in an AGILE environment for IT development.
  • Support Quality Acceptance process.
  • Drive User Acceptance Testing with end users and IT.
