Senior Business Analyst - Cloud Infrastructure and Supply Chain
About The Position
Supply chain management team provides end-to-end hardware and cloud supply chain solutions to support the company's global development. The solutions need balance compliance, cost, quality and efficiency, by selecting, integrating, transforming and maximizing external partners' value in technology, production, logistic service, brand and resource. As a core decision-making supporter of the company's cloud procurement strategy, you will leverage your in-depth understanding of cloud providers to build a precise and efficient cloud market insight system, maximizing the value of cloud procurement.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or above, majoring in finance, cost management, etc., with 5+ years experience in research work at well-known consulting firms or in the technology industry
- Proficient in English listening, speaking, reading, and writing, and able to independently analyze and assess globally renowned cloud providers.
- Possesses a strong sense of cost, data sensitivity, and result-oriented thinking, is adaptable, and can quickly respond to pricing changes in the cloud market.
- Global perspective, with strong curiosity and business acumen
- Self-motivation, good cross-team coordination skills, and adaptable.
Responsibilities
- Conduct information collection and output analysis and research on industry fundamentals in combination with cloud market dynamics to provide support for cloud business decision-making. This includes but is not limited to early-stage data and information collection, mid-stage analysis and processing, and late-stage output of insights interpretation and special report writing.
- Support the needs for industry insights related to supply chain cloud business, including the collection and collation of consulting reports, macro supply and demand analysis, and provide valuable and actionable recommendations.
- Based on the company's cloud resource usage requirements (computing power, storage, bandwidth, etc.), historical procurement data, and market intelligence, a cloud procurement cost optimization model is constructed.
