About The Position

Cohere Health is seeking a hands-on Senior Business Analyst to support the execution and continuous improvement of our clinical programs. Each Business Analyst will work alongside a Program Manager, under the VP of Clinical Programs to provide the data, documentation, and process discipline required for program success. This role is focused on 'hands-on keyboard' execution — transforming program strategy and management direction into tangible deliverables such as dashboards, performance reports, and documented processes. By providing timely insights and reliable documentation, the Senior Business Analyst enables the Program Manager to run the program effectively and helps ensure Cohere’s clinical programs achieve their financial, operational, and clinical outcomes.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in business analysis, data analytics, or healthcare operations.
  • Experience supporting program or project management in a healthcare or payer/provider setting.
  • Demonstrated expertise to create dashboards, reports, and documentation that inform decision-making.
  • Proficiency with analysis and visualization tools (e.g., Excel, SQL, Tableau, Power BI).
  • Strong skills in written communication skills with ability to document processes clearly and concisely; proficient in compiling material to support decision making.
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple deliverables simultaneously.
  • Collaborative mindset, with ability to operate in a matrixed and fast-paced environment.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Business, Public Health, Data Analytics, or a related field.

Responsibilities

  • Collect, clean, and interpret program performance data with support from centralized Analytics resources.
  • Develop business requirements for new and existing dashboard, translating business requirements to analytics needs.
  • Involved in the validating and testing of those dashboards in partnership with analytics.
  • Build trackers, and reports that monitor KPIs (e.g., clinical accuracy, turnaround time, MedEx savings, denial/approval trends).
  • Conduct root-cause analysis on issues affecting program performance and recommend data-informed improvements.
  • Ensure data integrity and consistency across reports used by internal teams and client-facing deliverables.
  • Support internal ad hoc data & analytic requests to facilitate program execution and ideation.
  • Document workflows, playbooks, and SOPs to ensure knowledge sharing and consistency across the program.
  • Capture and codify process changes resulting from program reviews and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Provide day-to-day analytical and documentation support to the Program Manager.
  • Develop presentation materials for internal reviews and client meetings (e.g., quarterly business reviews, performance summaries).
  • Track action items, maintain issue logs, and follow up with cross-functional teams to ensure timely execution.
