About The Position

The Senior Business Analyst will play a crucial role in bridging business needs with Salesforce-based solutions, focusing on helping the business define system requirements, documenting these requirements in JIRA tickets, confluence articles, process flow diagrams and aid in translating such requirements into actionable solution design for our development team. This role involves close collaboration with business stakeholders, meticulous documentation, and a deep understanding of the Salesforce ecosystem and related applications. It requires a detail-oriented individual with strong analytical skills, capable of producing high-quality, actionable documentation that bridges the gap between business needs and technical implementation.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst with a focus on Salesforce applications and integrations.
  • Proven track record of creating detailed, developer-ready process flows and system requirements documentation.
  • Strong understanding of Salesforce capabilities, including Sales Cloud and Service Cloud.
  • Experience with related applications such as Marketo, NetSuite, and Clari.
  • Familiarity with Gainsight and AI technologies in the context of CRM systems.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to translate complex business needs into clear technical requirements.
  • Working knowledge of the end-to-end Quote to Cash business processes in a SaaS company.
  • Experience in Agile methodologies and tools like Jira or Confluence.
  • Basic understanding of software development processes and database concepts.

Nice To Haves

  • Certifications such as Salesforce Certified Administrator or Advanced Administrator.
  • Familiarity with PowerBI, data modeling and SQL.
  • Consulting experience in CPQ (Configure, Price, Quote) and Lead to Order projects.
  • Background in facilitating cross-functional workshops and requirements gathering sessions.
  • Experience in process re-engineering and optimization within CRM environments.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate intensively with business stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document detailed business requirements and processes.
  • Create comprehensive, highly detailed process flows and system requirements documentation that can be directly used by senior developers for coding.
  • Translate complex business needs into clear, actionable technical specifications for Salesforce applications (Sales Cloud, Service Cloud) and related systems (Marketo, NetSuite, Clari).
  • Lead workshops and interviews with stakeholders to ensure thorough understanding and documentation of business processes and system interactions.
  • Develop and maintain detailed use cases, user stories, and acceptance criteria that align with business objectives and technical capabilities.
  • Create and manage project artifacts including process maps, data flow diagrams, and requirements traceability matrices.
  • Facilitate communication between business units and technical teams to ensure accurate interpretation and implementation of requirements.
  • Conduct gap analysis between current and future state processes, identifying opportunities for optimization within the Salesforce ecosystem.
  • Provide guidance on Salesforce best practices and potential limitations during the requirements gathering process.
  • Assist in testing and validation to ensure developed solutions meet documented requirements and business needs.
  • Protect the security and privacy of Absolute and its customers.
