Kiewit Industrial & Water Engineering (KIWE) is seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer with experience in Data Centers and/or Nuclear facilities to provide design for a variety of industrial buildings across multiple market sectors. This position is ideal for an experienced design engineer with a strong background in HVAC, piping, and plumbing systems, particularly in high-reliability, mission-critical environments. Building types include administration/office buildings, battery storage, server rooms, manufacturing, warehouses, water treatment facilities, industrial process buildings, and transportation facilities such as bus/train stations and maintenance facilities. Experience with mechanical systems in Data Centers (e.g., cooling redundancy, containment strategies) or Nuclear facilities (e.g., safety-critical HVAC, radiation shielding, regulatory compliance) is highly valued. The candidate should have leadership experience, strong communication skills, and the ability to collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of experienced professionals. You will be responsible for executing and reviewing mechanical designs for new and existing facilities, including drawings, specifications, and submittal reviews.
