About The Position
The Budget Analyst will provide technical services and expertise in support of DHS goals and mission as related to the scope of work below.
Requirements
- Minimum Education : Bachelor’s Degree within finance/accounting/quantitative methods.
- Minimum Experience : 6 years of federal financial management experience.
- Security Clearance: DHS Suitability (HSPD-12)
- REQUIREMENT: Must be a United States citizen or permanent resident or have authorization for employment in the United States.
Responsibilities
- Support Federal Protective Services (FPS) financial and accounting operations (FFMS)
- Maintain financial spreadsheets, reconciliations, and billing analysis
- Support SWA, FM151 reconciliation, spend plans
- Conduct trend analysis and forecasting
- Prepare security and financial documentation
- Reconcile accounts and resolve discrepancies
- Assist with Exhibit 1 updates for guard posts
- Process travel documents and financial tracking
