About The Position

The Senior Budget Analyst assumes a lead role in assisting the Office of Financial Planning, Analysis and Budget team in the development of the annual operating budget, maintaining position control, and providing analytical support to the campus community. This position involves supporting leadership and assisting in the training of staff members in all budget aspects, collaborating with colleges and departments to maintain budget controls, and performing necessary budget functions. The analyst will utilize analytics to develop accurate analyses, documents, and financial data services, resolve budget issues, and provide guidance on impactful solutions. Additionally, the role includes initiating and completing insightful projects that affect the University's overall strategic plan.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a related field
• Professional experience in budgeting
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
• Strong quantitative analytical and financial skills
• Demonstrated track record of excellence in customer service and being a true team player
• Must be able to multi-task and prioritize
• Professional attitude and etiquette
• Confidentiality and discretion is required as this position has access to sensitive and confidential information.
