About The Position

The Senior BSA Analyst develops and analyzes information on banking transactions with regard to BSA, AML, and SAR regulations and requirements and completes all reports as necessary.

Requirements

  • Strong "People First" interest and ability.
  • Knowledge of relevant Federal and State banking regulations
  • Familiarity with Bank security and safety practices
  • Strong analytical and communication skills.
  • Strong knowledge of Word, Excel and Lotus Notes

  • Proficiency with Metavante, Evision, Document Direct, Prime and Bridger Insight
  • College degree preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Support the Bank's "People First" focus and rules of engagement-maintaining a professional demeanor, working as an active member of the CNOB team, providing clients excellent service, always striving to make CNOB "A Better Place to Be".
  • Monitors client accounts and initiates Suspicious Activity Reports (SARs) accurately and in a timely manner according to FinCEN regulations.
  • Ensure the filing of accurate Currency Transaction Reports (CTRs) and Suspicious Activity Reports (SARs).
  • Assist with the development and maintenance of a BSA/AML Compliance Program, ensuring compliance with all Federal and state regulations.
  • Ensure effective transaction monitoring and client account oversight is implemented to identify suspicious transactions for reporting.
  • Review and analyze all accounts to identify possible suspicious activity and escalate cases as necessary.
  • Assist in the development of statistical reports to supplement the Bank's current BSA/AML Solution.
  • Review and ensure all OFAC checks are performed and investigate any 'hits'.
  • Perform scheduled reviews of critical areas where non-compliance could lead to civil and criminal liability.
