WSP is currently initiating a search for a full-time Bridge Senior Technical Manager to help grow our successful Indianapolis office. This position is best suited for an engineer who is seeking an opportunity to work within a team-focused local office, with the resources and support of a large world-wide engineering firm. Join us and help shape the future! Your Impact Coordinate with District, Regional, and National Business Line staff in the pursuit and delivery of critical infrastructure projects for key clients. Develop and expand client base with a focus on providing high quality structural engineering services including identifying additional business development opportunities and partnerships. Manage planning and/or engineering projects including roadway, freight rail and pedestrian bridge design, retaining walls, sign structures, and similar projects. Mentor staff to support their growth and professional development. Perform professional structural engineering work and conduct research and inspections of proposed and existing site conditions. Develop design plans, specifications, and cost estimates; preparing construction safety and phasing plans and updating infrastructure layout plans that require coordination with owners, other disciplines, sub-consultants, and clients. Work as an individual or as part of a cross-functional team to execute project work on multiple concurrent projects. Work with local office leadership to develop client-facing strategies for the region. Maintain quality control standards and procedures for accurate measurements, statistical analysis, and reporting. Perform structures-related computations and analysis. Prepare technical reports and presentations that explain research, findings, and recommendations to improve, prevent, control, restore, or address design and/or construction issues or opportunities. Interact with regulatory agencies, subcontractors, and clients in a confident and professional manner. Work collaboratively with other engineers, professionals, and infrastructure authorities on Federal, State, regional, local, and privately funded improvement and development projects. Exercise responsible and ethical decision-making regarding company funds, resources and conduct, and adhere to WSP's Code of Conduct and related policies and procedures.
