As a Senior Bridge Project Manager / Transportation Practice Builder at Jacobs, you will play a pivotal role in leading bridge projects of varying sizes and complexities within our Southwest Bridge Team. This position offers the unique opportunity to work on a diverse range of transportation projects across Nevada and the Southwest, including high-profile initiatives such as the Brightline West High Speed Rail. You will be responsible for overseeing multidisciplinary teams, managing the design and construction phases of bridge projects, and ensuring that all engineering services are delivered to the highest standards. Your leadership will not only guide the technical aspects of bridge design but also foster a collaborative environment where junior engineers can thrive through mentorship and support. In this role, you will develop comprehensive bridge designs, calculations, specifications, and cost estimates, while also preparing final bid packages. You will manage task orders under on-call contracts and provide engineering services during construction, including the preparation of construction observation reports. Your ability to identify innovative engineering solutions will be crucial in addressing client needs and project constraints. Additionally, you will coordinate project milestones with Project Managers and Design Leads, ensuring that all aspects of the project are aligned and progressing as planned.
