How will you contribute to the team? Performs density and asphalt test; samples and verifies certification of materials. Observes construction work such as a trench excavation, pipe placement, backfill operations, pile driving, structure placement, steel reinforcement, concrete pouring, signalization and lighting. Responsible for coordinating and managing lower level inspectors. Must have experience working on FDOT projects.

Requirements

  • High school diploma (or equivalent)
  • Four (4) years of CEI experience in roadway or Bridge construction
  • Must have the following FDOT certifications/qualifications or be able to obtain with three months: CTQP Final Estimates Level I and Level II
  • CTQP Concrete Field Technician Level I
  • CTQP Concrete Field Inspector Level II
  • CTQP Asphalt Roadway Level I and Level II
  • CTQP Earthwork Construction Inspection Level I and Level II
  • CTQP Pile Driving Inspection
  • CTQP Drilled Shaft Inspection
  • FDOT Intermediate Temporary Traffic Control (TTC)
  • IMSA Traffic Signal Inspector Level I
  • Nuclear Radiation Safety/HAZMAT
  • Florida Stormwater, Erosion, and Sedimentation Control Training and Certification Program for Inspectors and Contractors

Responsibilities
