WSP is currently initiating a search for a Sr. Bridge Inspection Engineer for our Denver, CO office. You will assist the Mountain Pacific Regional senior staff on a full-time basis with business development and winning bridge and tunnel inspection and repair work for CDOT and other transportation agencies. You will utilize your education, licensure, and relevant work experience to perform independent and complete evaluation of the condition, function and load carrying capacity of structures and their individual components. These evaluations may form the basis of recommendations to facility owners for repair, rehabilitation, or replacement. Your Impact Plan, schedule, and perform CDOT bridge inspections in accordance with the requirements of specific Bridge Owners, but in all cases, in compliance with the National Bridge Inspection Standards (NBIS) and the AASHTO Manual for Condition Evaluation of Bridges. Liaison with client field/facility staff, lead/assist with communicating critical condition findings. Direct other field team members. Enforce safe operations in the field. Create or assist with creating and/or reviewing all required inspection reports. Ensure technical compliance with all applicable standards and specifications. Exercise responsible and ethical decision-making regarding company funds, resources and conduct and adhere to WSP's Code of Conduct and related policies and procedures. Support the Mountain Pacific Region and National Bridge Inspection group in performing bridge, ancillary, culvert and tunnel inspections in different jurisdictions as required.
