Requirements

  • Minimum of 4 years of relevant experience.
  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering from an ABET-Accredited Program.
  • Strong Proficiency in required design software such as MicroStation, AutoCAD, or Revit.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Good communication and technical writing skills.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to think critically.

Nice To Haves

  • Professional Engineer (PE) eligibility.

Responsibilities

  • Perform structural analysis and design of bridge components using industry-standard software (e.g., AutoCAD, MicroStation, STAAD, Midas).
  • Prepare detailed design drawings, specifications, and cost estimates.
  • Conduct load rating and stress analysis for new and existing structures.
  • Review and check design calculations and drawings prepared by junior engineers.
  • Coordinate with architects, geotechnical engineers, and construction teams.
  • Ensure compliance with AASHTO, DOT, and other relevant codes and standards.
  • Participate in field inspections and condition assessments of bridges.
  • Prepare technical reports and presentations for stakeholders and clients.
