About The Position

The position requires a skilled technician with extensive experience in the boiler industry. The successful applicant will be responsible for performing all types of boiler maintenance, including regular internal and external inspections of boilers, burners, and associated controls. The role involves troubleshooting, repairing, installing, and testing various boiler systems and components.

Requirements

• 5-10 years' experience in the boiler industry.
• Extensive experience troubleshooting, servicing, testing, and installing a wide variety of boiler systems and related parts and equipment.
• Experience with fire-tube and water-tube boiler systems, industrial boiler/burner systems, and a diverse range of manufacturers.
• Proficient in troubleshooting, repairing, and testing all boiler controls and system components.
• Good communication and language skills, with full knowledge of industry-specific vocabulary.
• Adept at problem solving, self-motivated, detail-oriented, and able to work independently or in a team environment.
• Familiarity with applicable boiler related standards.
• Proficient in basic mathematics, including algebra and formulas.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Completed two years of trade school, technical school, or community college.
• Valid driver's license with an acceptable motor vehicle record.
• Computer proficiency is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform all types of boiler maintenance.
• Conduct regular internal and external inspections of boilers, burners, and associated controls.
• Assess and perform replacements or repairs to all types of boiler system related parts and controls.
• Troubleshoot issues and proficiently repair, install, and perform testing on all types of boilers.
