About The Position
AECOM is seeking an experienced Senior Biologist/Senior Project Manager for immediate employment within AECOM's Southern California Natural Resources Group. This hybrid role will be based in our San Diego, CA office. This position would focus on project and technical management of a range of natural resource projects in the southern California region, including biological surveys, regulatory compliance, and permitting, with a focus on So Cal utility, local agency, and renewables clients. Primary duties include managing projects involving impact assessments, mitigation planning, regulatory compliance and permitting efforts including CEQA/NEPA, 404/401, CESA, and ESA, and preparing environmental documents and management plans. The successful candidate will contribute to growth of the So Cal department through marketing pursuits including proposal preparation, interviews, and business development. Technical mentorship and succession planning for the next generation of biological resources leadership is also a key element of this role.
