About The Position

In this role, you will lead complex billing strategy initiatives, providing actionable financial insights and process improvements across multiple functions including finance, product, clinical, and marketing teams. You will analyze trends in reimbursement, payer compliance, and denials to guide decision-making and optimize workflows. The position involves performing deep-dive analytics, managing cross-functional projects, and supporting the development of new policies to enhance operational efficiency. You will leverage data to recommend strategic solutions, design dashboards, and provide financial visibility for key stakeholders. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, economics, healthcare, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 8+ years of experience in healthcare billing, finance, or related analytical roles.
  • Strong proficiency in Excel, SQL, and BI tools such as Power BI or Tableau.
  • In-depth knowledge of medical billing, insurance policies, and healthcare reimbursement processes.
  • Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and project management skills.
  • Strong communication skills with experience presenting complex information to stakeholders at all levels.
  • Self-motivated, adaptable, and able to thrive in a fast-paced, remote or distributed environment.
  • Ability to handle confidential data in compliance with HIPAA/PHI regulations.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct complex data analysis and interpretation to support organizational decision-making and identify actionable insights.
  • Monitor financial and business metrics, including KPIs, reimbursement trends, and payer compliance.
  • Design, execute, and evaluate process improvement initiatives, ensuring efficient workflows and operational excellence.
  • Perform audits and reviews to identify trends or issues, developing remediation plans to address them.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to implement improvements and ensure adherence to SOPs, SLAs, and quality standards.
  • Utilize analytics and business intelligence tools (e.g., Excel, Power BI, SQL) to create dashboards, reports, and scenario modeling.
  • Support governance, project management, and rollout of updated policies and procedures.
