This full-time position is integral to our Patient Financial Service Centers, where the successful candidate will be responsible for managing the claims follow-up, denial, and appeals processes within a pharmacy operation setting. The Senior Billing Representative will primarily work from an unbilled queue and aged worklist queue, focusing on processing denials and unpaid claims, as well as handling primary and secondary billing efforts for both commercial and government payers. In this role, the candidate will actively follow up on payment denials and underpayments on patient accounts, collaborating with payers to ensure that all claims are processed accurately and applied to the correct accounts. The Senior Billing Representative will continuously monitor the billing and collections process, ensuring that all communication, collection efforts, and adjustments are thoroughly documented and recorded on patient accounts. This position directly impacts patients' lives by ensuring that all payer payments are appropriately allocated, thereby alleviating financial burdens on patients. A strong background in health insurance billing and collections, along with knowledge of medical and pharmacy terminology, is essential for success in this role. The work schedule for this position is Monday through Friday, from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM EST, and it is a hybrid role based in the Orlando, Florida office.
