About The Position
The Senior Biller performs a variety of duties to accomplish the billing and collection of all patient accounts including but not limited to: Input insurance information for patient admission Produces bills for all thrid-party insurance/patient accounts Reconciles charges Input billing data utilizing the hospitals computer system
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Two to three years of medical billing/collections experience in a hospital or health care setting required
- Basic computer skills required
- Working knowledge of third-party insurances, billing, and follow-up procedures, admitting, insurance verification and collections required
