About The Position

Seeking a Senior BI Engineer to lead the stabilization of our Power BI reporting environment during a critical QC phase. This role will focus on aligning Power BI dashboards to more closely align with interdepartmental dashboards to ensure metric parity, data accuracy, and executive-level reporting confidence. This is a hands-on, execution-oriented role. The ideal candidate has experience diagnosing mismatched reporting environments and rebuilding clean semantic layers under time pressure. Please note that this is a temporary, 90 day position. This is a salaried position with a compensation range aligned to an hourly equivalent of approximately $80–$85, which translates to an annual salary range of roughly $166,000–$177,000.

Requirements

  • Confidence with building from business logic to executive-level Power BI dashboards
  • Ability to work in-person
  • 6+ years in BI / analytics engineering
  • Ability to operate independently in ambiguous environments
  • Deep experience with Power BI
  • Strong SQL skills
  • Direct experience with Salesforce data structures and APIs

Nice To Haves

  • Healthcare analytics experience
  • Experience integrating NetSuite financial data
  • Experience reconciling cross-platform dashboards
  • Prior Power BI migration experience
  • Experience replacing Tableau environments

Responsibilities

  • Fix discrepancies between Salesforce/Tableau dashboards and Power BI outputs
  • Partner with Finance and Operations to confirm business logic
  • Document metric definitions and transformation rules
  • Rebuild and optimize Power BI data models
  • Define and align metric logic across systems
  • Extract and transform data from Salesforce and NetSuite
  • Design clean star schemas and semantic layers
  • Validate data integrity and reconciliation processes
