We're looking for a Benefits Analyst who is passionate about supporting people through thoughtful, well-executed benefits and wellness programs. Reporting to the Senior Benefits Manager, this role will play a key part in ensuring the effective administration, communication, and compliance of employee benefits, leaves of absence, medical accommodations, workers' compensation, and wellness initiatives. This person will also work closely with People Operations, Payroll, HR Technology, and cross-functional teams to deliver an exceptional employee experience.

  • Support the administration and communication of the company's global benefits programs.
  • Assist in the execution of benefits open enrollment and annual wellness programming.
  • Administer and support employee leaves of absence, including FMLA, personal leave, parental leave, and related ADA accommodations.
  • Help coordinate and manage workers' compensation claims and associated documentation.
  • Serve as a point of contact for employee inquiries related to benefits, leaves, accommodations, and wellness programs, ensuring timely and accurate resolution.
  • Participate in benefits surveys and perform market research to help assess and maintain competitive offerings.
  • Collaborate with brokers and carriers on benefits renewals, monitor plan performance, analyze trend and claims data, and contribute recommendations to improve cost efficiency and the overall employee experience.
  • Analyze benefit utilization trends and assist in vendor management, suggesting potential plan changes to improve the employee experience.
  • Collaborate with People Operations to ensure accurate administration of benefits in Workday, including process optimization, data integrity, and testing of functionality and new configurations.
  • Collect employee feedback on specific benefits and wellness topics to support continuous improvement efforts.
  • Support benefits compliance, including assisting with statutory and regulatory reporting, and annual compliance testing (e.g., 5500 filings, nondiscrimination testing).
  • Help develop and deliver employee education initiatives, including informational sessions and resources that promote benefits awareness and understanding.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to improve processes and implement new benefit or wellness-related programs.
  • Perform other duties as assigned to support the broader People team and business goals.
  • Bachelor's degree and at least 5 years of experience in administering employee benefits programs.
  • Strong understanding of health and welfare plans, FMLA and other leave programs, ADA, wellness initiatives, and workers' compensation administration.
  • Advanced skills in Google Sheets, including formulas and pivot tables.
  • Experience working in a startup or high-growth environment with comfort navigating ambiguity and shifting priorities.
  • Strong written and interpersonal communication skills with the ability to build trust across diverse employee populations.
  • Working knowledge of Workday, especially related to benefits modules, reporting capabilities, testing new functionality/configurations, and system workflows.
