This will involve preparing and submitting required government filings, such as 5500 forms, and conducting regular audits of benefits programs to ensure accuracy and compliance. You will also serve as a liaison with insurance carriers and third-party administrators, negotiating contracts and managing relationships to resolve any issues that may arise. In your role, you will be the primary point of contact for clients regarding benefits inquiries, claims issues, and plan details. You will develop and distribute clear communication materials to clients about benefits programs and any changes that may occur. Strategic planning will also be a significant part of your responsibilities, as you will analyze benefits data and trends to identify areas for improvement and recommend strategic changes to the firm's benefits programs. Collaborating with senior management, you will align benefits programs with overall business objectives and employee needs, participating in the design and implementation of new benefits initiatives. Leadership and team development are essential components of this role.
