Our team provides culturally responsive mental health services in homes, schools, clinics, and community settings. As we expand our Senior Behavioral Health Program , we are seeking compassionate therapists who are passionate about supporting older adults through life transitions, grief, depression, anxiety, and adjustment challenges. This role is ideal for clinicians who value relationship-based therapy, meaningful conversations, and supporting older adults as they navigate important stages of life. Position Overview The Senior Behavioral Health Therapist provides individual psychotherapy services, community support, and case management services to residents living in assisted living and senior living communities. This role focuses on improving residents’ emotional wellness, supporting life transitions, and addressing mental health concerns common in later adulthood. Therapists in this role benefit from a consistent work location, built-in referrals, and a predictable caseload , allowing them to focus on clinical care rather than marketing or traveling extensively between appointments. What Makes This Role Unique Consistent work location – therapists are typically assigned to one primary assisted living community Built-in referrals – residents are already in the building, eliminating the need to build a caseload from scratch Minimal travel – no driving house-to-house across the city Predictable schedule with stable weekly caseload Meaningful long-term relationships with residents Supportive clinical leadership and supervision

Requirements

  • Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or related field
  • Experience providing psychotherapy services
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams
  • Comfort working with older adult populations

  • Licensed Clinician Preferred LCSW LCPC LMFT
  • Pre-Licensed Clinicians Considered LSW LPC
  • Other master’s level clinicians under supervision

Responsibilities

  • Provide individual psychotherapy, community support, and case management services to residents in assisted living communities
  • Conduct mental health assessments and develop individualized treatment plans
  • Provide counseling related to: depression anxiety grief and loss adjustment to aging and health changes life transitions social isolation
  • Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in the electronic health record
  • Collaborate with facility staff and TMH leadership to support resident wellbeing
  • Participate in weekly supervision and monthly in-person staff team meetings
  • Maintain ethical and professional standards of care
  • Participate is Senior Wellness activity days
  • Conduct 2 in person workshops per year
  • Expected caseload: 25 completed therapy sessions per week
  • Therapists typically provide services within one primary facility or two nearby facilities , allowing for consistent scheduling and minimal travel.
