About The Position

Marie Claire US is seeking a Senior Beauty Writer. Reporting to the Beauty Director, the Senior Beauty Writer will contribute timely, compelling stories for the Beauty vertical across both print and digital.

Requirements

• 4+ years experience in a writing-heavy role within the beauty space.
• Ability to produce clean and compelling copy on tight deadlines.
• Strong understanding of industry trends.
• Experience in SEO and e-commerce.

Responsibilities

• Ideate and write a high volume of stories, including news stories, commerce-driven stories, featurettes, interviews, essays, and more.
• Refine strategies for growing news and commerce traffic for the Beauty vertical through experimentation and analytics.
• Brainstorm, pitch, and write content for print issues, digital issues, special projects, and packages.
• Manage key editorial franchises.
