About The Position

We are partnering with an Am Law 10 firm, to recruit a Senior Business Development and Marketing Manager to play a key leadership role supporting the firm’s Litigation practice. The Senior Manager will oversee other professionals and drive high-impact initiatives to strengthen the firm’s business development and marketing efforts. The position calls for a collaborative leader who will build trusted relationships across the Marketing Department, firm leadership, attorneys, and other business functions throughout the firm’s global platform.

Requirements

  • A bachelor’s degree is required
  • A minimum of 10 years of marketing, business development, or other relevant experience
  • Deep understanding of the market for legal services and the competitive landscape.
  • Strong writing, communication, proofreading, presentation, and critical thinking abilities, with sound judgment and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

  • Client Development: Collaborate with practice and industry leaders to develop and execute strategies that deliver a coordinated mix of initiatives supporting business objectives.
  • Marketing & Business Development: Shape and deliver compelling RFPs, pitches, and profile-raising initiatives (rankings, surveys, sponsorships) to strengthen market visibility and generate new business opportunities.
  • Strategy & Insights : Leverage technology, market insights, and data to drive efficiency, strengthen strategy, measure ROI, and differentiate service offerings.
  • Supervise & Mentor: Cultivate and guide team members by overseeing daily operations, setting goals, coaching, and fostering professional growth.
  • Collaboration & Integration: Build strong partnerships across practices, regions, and business functions to deliver cohesive, firmwide business development and marketing initiatives.
