About The Position
We are an auto insurance company built for those who have worse driving history or have come into financial hardship providing affordable coverage. We are a Series B start up who is already profitable and bringing in hundreds of millions in revenue annually. We're looking to expand the reach of the product so we're looking for some awesome people to join us as Backend or Fullstack Engineers. Our stack: Typescript, Node.js, React, AWS, and SQL.
Requirements
- 5+ years of backend programming experience
- Experience building out event driven solutions zero to one using tools like AWS SQS, Rabbit MQ, Kafka, etc.
- Is comfortable operating with a high ownership and trust team
- Strong track record of building and optimizing SQL data models
- Experience building scalable systems with an emphasis on reliability
