Senior Backend Engineer

We’re looking for a Senior Backend Engineer that’s passionate about using their skills to unlock efficiency for hospitals and their suppliers. In this role, you’ll take ownership of backend services, data stores, and APIs to help build and scale the core functionality of our platform. You’ll work with a fast-paced, cross-functional team, to deliver end-user facing features quickly and iterate based on customer feedback.
Requirements
- 5+ years of relevant industry experience
- Strong experience with Python
- Strong experience designing and consuming RESTful APIs
- Strong understanding of SQL and relational data modeling
- Experience with asynchronous data processing workflows
- Experience with cloud infrastructure
- Familiarity with distributed systems concepts
- Self-motivated with excellent problem-solving and communication skills
Nice To Haves
- Experience with Terraform
- Experience with Kubernetes
- Experience working in healthtech
- Experience working at a startup
Responsibilities
- Write high-quality, well-tested, maintainable code
- Design and build services and APIs for end-user product functionality
- Design and build event-driven data processing workflows
