About The Position

As a Senior Backend Engineer at RoadSync, you will be responsible for designing and developing our Golang and Python APIs running in AWS. We’re looking for a strong problem solver and team player who can immediately contribute to the success of RoadSync.

Requirements

• 5+ years relevant work experience
• Experience working with APIs using Golang, Python, or a similar language.
• Experience with relational databases and developing transactional software
• Serverless systems development experience working with AWS services like API Gateway, EC2, ECS, Lambda, S3, RDS, SQS, SNS, and Cognito
• US citizens or individuals with existing work visas only

Nice To Haves

• Payments or accounting SaaS experience is a plus

Responsibilities

• Develop API software for the RoadSync platform, which includes SaaS and mobile applications.
• Help implement our strategy for migrating legacy code to modern standards
• Participate in code reviews
