Senior Backend Engineer (Remote)
About The Position
We are seeking a brilliant engineer to help accelerate the build out of our client-facing content marketing platform. The candidate will be working closely with our CTO to design and implement new systems, maintain operations of the production systems and to coordinate work across all the initiatives of the Engineering team. The candidate will operate in a distributed architecture building the infrastructure to manage Big Data and solve complex algorithmic problems. Will deliver initiatives that drive revenue and improve efficiency in line with our business strategy. Will maintain in-depth knowledge of the organization's technologies and architectures. Will develop and enforce best practices for master data management and development. The ideal candidate is a passionate developer with significant experience in designing and building complex systems. Capable of providing extraordinary output in terms of quantity and quality.
Requirements
- 5+ years’ experience in Java
- Ability to work independently and with teams
- Extensive experience with Service Oriented Architectures
- Solid experience with SQL
- Extensive experience with unit test frameworks such as JUnit, Mockito, TestNG etc
- Familiarity with AWS and Docker
- Strong analytical skills
