About the Team The ClickPipes Platform plays a critical role in driving the growth of our company and ensuring the success of our clients by seamlessly onboarding and integrating data from diverse data sources into ClickHouse. You can find some of the teams recent work highlighted in our blog: Flexible Scaling and Monitoring in ClickPipes MySQL CDC Connector for ClickPipes The Evolution of ClickPipes We are looking for exceptional backend engineers who can work across a variety of technologies, with deep expertise in Kubernetes, distributed systems, cloud services, and platform reliability. As a member of this team, you'll collaborate cross-functionally to build and maintain the robust infrastructure powering ClickPipes. This role is ideal for individuals who are capable of working independently, taking initiative, and driving projects forward with a high level of autonomy.

Requirements

Experience: 5+ years of industry experience building as a backend engineer.
Expertise: Golang, Kubernetes, Terraform (or comparable IaC tool), cloud-native architecture and solid knowledge of at least one major cloud service provider.
Customer Focus: Have a deep commitment to understanding and addressing customer needs. Use customer feedback and insights to inform and improve product development.
Collaboration: Excellent communication skills and a track record of working effectively across teams.
Problem Solver: Exceptional production debugging skills, with the ability to navigate and solve complex technical issues in fast-paced environments.
High Autonomy: Thrives in a high-velocity setting with significant ownership and autonomy.

Responsibilities

Enhance and scale our high-performance data onboarding platform to handle increasing volumes of data in real-time.
Own and evolve our infrastructure across multiple cloud providers (AWS, with expansion to GCP and Azure).
Drive improvements to our deployment pipelines, infrastructure automation, and operational processes.
Drive technical discussions and contribute to architectural decisions that impact our platform's scalability and resilience.
Participate in on-call rotations to ensure system reliability and respond to production incidents.
Continuously improve our systems based on operational metrics, customer feedback, and evolving business requirements.
