About The Position

Responsibilities Cloud Strategy & Architecture Lead the design and evolution of Azure-based infrastructure aligned with ERMCO’s cloud strategy and businessobjectives. Collaborate with IT leadership to define cloud roadmaps, hybrid strategies, and modernization initiatives. Providearchitectural guidance on scaling applications, storage, networking, and backup solutions. Deliver cost modeling and forecasting for cloud resourceutilizationand future deployments. Azure Platform Leadership Oversee Azure subscriptions, resource groups, networking, VMs, and storage with a focus on governance and optimization. Define and enforce standards for Azure AD, RBAC, policies, and compliance configurations. Lead efforts tomonitor, analyze, andoptimize performance and cost across environments. Architect and implement resilient backup and disaster recovery strategies. Microsoft 365 Oversight Provide senior-level administration of Microsoft 365 services including Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint, and OneDrive. Lead licensing strategy, identity management, and compliance enforcement across the M365 ecosystem. Ensure seamless integration between Microsoft 365 and Azure AD. Security & Compliance Leadership Define and enforce cloud security standards including MFA, conditional access, encryption, and monitoring. Lead compliance initiatives aligned with ISO, NIST, and ERMCO’s internal policies. Conduct and oversee regular health checks, audits, and risk assessments. Team Collaboration & Mentorship Serve as a technical lead and escalation point for Azure and Microsoft 365 issues. Mentor junior and mid-level engineers, fostering skill development and knowledge sharing. Contribute to andmaintaindocumentation of cloud standards, processes, and best practices. Collaborate with Infrastructure, DevOps, and Security teams to deliver integrated solutions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 7+ years of experience in IT infrastructure, with at least 5yearsin Azure cloud engineering and architecture.
  • Expert-level knowledge of Azure IaaS, PaaS, networking, and storage services.
  • Advanced experience with Azure AD, Intune, and Microsoft 365 administration.
  • Proficiencyin PowerShell scripting and automation.
  • Strong understanding of cloud security, identity management, and governance.
  • Experience withVNet, VPC, and Cloud VPN.
  • Familiarity with Nutanix and other hyperconverged platforms.
  • Proven leadership and mentoring capabilities.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration across technical and business teams.
  • Ability to balance strategic vision with hands-on execution.
