Job Title Senior AWS Engineer About your role: We are seeking a highly skilled Senior AWS Engineer with a strong understanding of network architecture and cloud infrastructure. This role will focus on designing, implementing, and optimizing secure, scalable, and highly available solutions in AWS, while ensuring robust networking and connectivity across hybrid environments What you'll do: Design and implement AWS-based solutions leveraging services such as VPC, EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS, and CloudFormation. Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools like Terraform or AWS CDK. Architect and manage AWS networking components (VPC, subnets, route tables, NAT gateways, Transit Gateway, Direct Connect, VPN). Implement network security best practices, including security groups, NACLs, and AWS Firewall Manager. Ensure network connectivity across hybrid cloud and on-prem environments. Automate deployments and operational tasks using CI/CD pipelines. Configure monitoring and alerting with CloudWatch, AWS Config, and third-party tools. Work closely with DevOps, Security, and Application teams to ensure seamless integration.

Requirements

5+ years in AWS engineering roles, with at least 3 years focused on networking in an enterprise environment.
3+ years of experience with Linux and Windows server environments.
3+ years of experience with automation tools like Ansible or Terraform.
3+ years of experience with scripting languages like Python or PowerShell.
6+ years of an equivalent combination of educational background, related experience, and/or military experience.

Nice To Haves

AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Professional or AWS Advanced Networking Specialty preferred.
Certifications AWS, Azure, or GCP
Familiarity with IAM, encryption, and compliance frameworks (e.g., SOC2, HIPAA).

Responsibilities
