About The Position

In this role, you will leverage your extensive expertise in cloud infrastructure and modern DevOps practices to ensure efficient operations and development within the AWS ecosystem. Your proactive approach and effective communication skills will play a critical role in collaborating with various teams, establishing best practices, and maintaining high-performance standards. You will be instrumental in leading projects that enhance cloud architecture and resource management while ensuring our systems remain secure and up-to-date. Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in AWS and Azure infrastructure management
  • 5+ years of experience in AWS and Azure resources management
  • 5+ years of experience in CI/CD Pipelines and Terraform
  • Experience with Docker and Kubernetes
  • Proficient in scripting languages such as Python, PowerShell, and Bash
  • Prior senior-level experience in IT organizations
  • Extensive knowledge of AWS operations and security
  • Ability to understand the 'big picture' across various IT domains
  • Demonstrated critical thinking and strategic planning abilities
  • Strong leadership and technical communication skills

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in the Life Sciences industry preferred

Responsibilities

  • Recommend best practices for AWS cloud architectures and use of AWS resources
  • Provide leadership in managing AWS resources and deployment
  • Manage Continuous Integration and Release deployment processes with tools like Bitbucket, GitLab, and Terraform
  • Administer Kubernetes clusters and supporting tools
  • Establish comprehensive AWS disaster recovery architecture with compliant operations
  • Participate in strategic IT, AWS, and Azure planning and budgeting
  • Build strong partnerships with AWS vendors and service suppliers
  • Update and maintain AWS assets to ensure security and up-to-date systems
  • Optimize Enterprise IT monitoring tools for proactive issue detection
  • Guide cross-functional teams for successful delivery of AWS solutions
