As a result, a full-time position is available for a Senior Aviation Engineering Project Manager at our Sacramento, CA office location.

Requirements

• A bachelor's degree (or higher) in engineering from an accredited college or university
• At least eight (8) years of experience
• A PE license is required

• Experience leading aviation design and construction projects
• Experience serving as the project manager on aviation projects
• Experience mentoring and leading engineering project teams
• Construction management experience
• Experience in contract administration scope and fee preparation/negotiations
• Experience with Marketing and Business Development
• AutoCAD Civil 3D experience

Responsibilities

• Serves as project manager and/or project engineer on complex projects
• Serve as a technical resource and/or mentor
• Leads marketing pursuits and/or acts as a client contact
• Assist with development of engineering agreements for projects
• Responsible for schedules, work in progress, and timely completion of projects
• Prepares forecast of workload for projects, coordinates pricing, estimating, and scoping for proposed projects
• Prepares or directs preparation and modification of reports, specifications, plans, schedules, studies, permits, and designs for projects
• Develops probable construction cost estimates for projects and prepares and monitors in the quality manual
• Assist with contract administration
• Visits project sites to monitor progress and other duties per the contract documents
• Other duties as assigned
