  • Enable Maxar infrastructure teams to deploy and maintain compliant systems using standards and configuration state management tools.
  • Continuously monitor operational system performance and usage, refining tools to reduce complexity and increase reliability.
  • Write playbooks and modules to implement hardening controls and manage configuration tools in various environments.
  • Upgrade, support, and optimize automation tools to create a highly available, resilient, and self-healing environment.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues with automation tools and their implementation, recommending and implementing changes.
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen and hold an active U.S. Secret security clearance.
  • At least two years of software development or infrastructure engineering experience.
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or two additional years of experience may be substituted for a degree.
  • Ability to be on call on a rotating basis.
  • Previously demonstrated experience in Linux system administration.
  • Experience using and/or administrating a variety of open-source technologies.
  • Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (Terraform or CloudFormation).
  • Familiarity with one or all of the following: Bash/Python/Perl/Ruby.
  • Experience with Ansible Tower or AWX writing Ansible playbooks and roles.
  • Experience with Satellite and Puppet.
  • Windows system administration experience.
  • Active TS/SCI U.S. security clearance.
  • PowerShell training.
  • Experience with SCCM and Group policy.
  • Experience with imaging baselines and OS Repositories.
  • Experience implementing compliance standards (e.g., STIG, CIS, NIST 800-171).
  • Cloud environment experience (AWS, Azure, GCP or other).
  • Experience using Ansible, Satellite, Ubuntu Landscape or equivalent technologies.
  • CI/CD experience.
  • Git experience.
  • Agile development experience.
