At General Motors, we envision a future with zero crashes, zero emissions, and zero congestion. We are on a mission to create the next generation of vehicle compute platforms. As part of this transformative effort, we are redefining how automotive software is developed, deployed and monitored, establishing a ubiquitous connection between vehicles and cloud-edge resources. We are seeking an energetic candidate for the position of Charging Automation engineer within GM’s Vehicle Mechatronic Embedded Controls End to End Charging Verification group at the Milford Proving Ground (MPG). This role provides the opportunity to work cohesively with a group of engineers responsible for the integration of electrification systems, features and controls. It involves in-vehicle and hardware in loop (HIL) bench work for both planned and unplanned testing and collaboration with calibration, algorithm/software and controls engineers. The ideal candidate will have an extensive background in automated and manual testing, particularly with Autobot, and has a deep understanding of web and mobile application testing, CI/CD pipelines as well as electrification feature knowledge. They will exhibit excellent leadership and collaboration as well along with vehicle and instrumentation troubleshooting skills and serving as a mentor to others.
