About The Position

Are you a seasoned automation expert who thrives on solving operational challenges with code? We're looking for a Senior Automation Developer to architect and implement scalable automation solutions that streamline server maintenance, patching, restarts, and alert resolution. This role blends infrastructure operations with development, offering the opportunity to drive efficiency across our systems while collaborating with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced fintech environment.

Requirements

• 6+ years of experience in automation development using Python and PowerShell or Bash.
• 5+ years of server administration and infrastructure automation.
• 5+ years of experience with CI/CD practices, system integration, and performance tuning.
• Familiarity with monitoring and alerting tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, Splunk, Moogsoft).
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, and/or equivalent military experience.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in scripting languages like Chef or Puppet.
• Experience with tools such as Operations Orchestration, Server Automation, Ansible and/or Rundeck.
• Experience with patch management automation.
• Background in Agile methodologies and collaborative development environments.

Responsibilities

• Architect and maintain robust automation frameworks for infrastructure and operational workflows.
• Automate server patching, restarts, and alert handling using PowerShell, Bash, and Python.
• Enhance and integrate automation into CI/CD pipelines and development workflows.
• Collaborate with DevOps, infrastructure, and software engineering teams to identify and implement automation opportunities.
• Troubleshoot and optimize automated solutions to improve performance, reliability, and scalability.
• Stay current with emerging automation technologies and bring innovative ideas to the team.
