There are still lots of open positions. Let's find the one that's right for you.
In this role, you will conduct internal audits and participate in special projects relating to a wide range of bank technology operations, regulatory compliance, risk management, and finance and accounting functions. You will perform risk assessments, audits, and Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) testing, and technical analyses to independently evaluate the adequacy and effectiveness of internal controls that are designed to ensure the achievement of management's operating objectives, compliance with applicable laws and regulations, and reliability of financial statements and other reporting. You will lead or co-lead audits or special projects and provide coaching or training to less experienced staff assigned to those engagements. In addition, you may provide Risk Monitoring of Risk Assessment of one area of the Audit Universe and recommend future assurance coverage of that area to the Audit Manager. Your responsibilities will include leading regular audits or special projects, often assigned as a technical subject matter specialist on audits and special projects. You will comply and maintain audit work papers in conformity with departmental quality standards and guidelines promulgated by the Institute of Internal Auditors. Executing assigned tasks in conformity with deadlines and budget expectations is crucial, as is keeping the Audit Manager informed of progress, impediments, and the results of fieldwork. You will produce status reports and other Internal Audit correspondence, lead or participate in discussions with audit clients/management regarding results of testing to validate facts and circumstances, and establish the basis for audit testing conclusions and/or reportable findings. Additionally, you will identify and/or assess potential for control enhancements or opportunities for management to improve the efficiency or effectiveness of operations, respond to information requests or requests for assistance from external auditors, regulatory examiners, and other bank departments, and perform assigned SOX testing procedures, potentially leading certain SOX testing activities. It is essential to demonstrate compliance with all bank regulations that apply to your position and keep up to date on regulation changes.
