About The Position

Our client is a leading professional services firm in Malta providing audit, tax, advisory, and business consulting services as part of a global network. Duties & Responsibilities In collaboration with the Quality team, the selected candidate will: Continuously improve quality policies, procedures, processes, and applications; Design and implement a risk assessment process to establish quality objectives, identify and assess quality risks, and develop appropriate responses; Ensure the firm’s compliance with all regulatory obligations and network policies governing this area, including but not limited to Quality Assurance Reviews, other monitoring procedures, compliance visits, ISQM (International Standard on Quality Management), and other relevant standards or compliance requirements; Assess the root causes, severity, and pervasiveness of identified deficiencies and design and implement remedial actions that appropriately address such root causes; Undergo an annual performance evaluation that considers the effectiveness of the system of quality management, including monitoring activities and responsiveness to identified deficiencies; Liaise, in cooperation with the HAAQM, with the Global Office on relevant matters relating to quality.

Requirements

  • A minimum of 3–5 years’ experience within an audit environment
  • Fully ACCA-qualified
  • Ability to work autonomously as well as part of a team, with a strong attention to detail and analytical mindset
  • Strong communication skills and a self-motivated approach
  • Ability to work effectively under strict deadlines
  • Complete fluency in English
