About The Position

The Senior Audit Program Manager will play a critical role in supporting the Defense Enterprise Accounting and Management System (DEAMS).
Responsible for ensuring that business and/or industry rules and guidelines are followed based on defined process and procedure documentation. This will include the following duties:

Requirements

• This role requires an active Secret Security Clearance, customer approval, and successful completion of a pre-employment background screening.

Responsibilities

• Create/Update and review internal process and procedure documentation related to the program needs
• Conduct an annual review of internal Control Activities to identify updates as needed
• Review/Update Program Management's Description of the System (MDS) for required updates to any process procedure references
• Coordinate with Program Management Office (PMO) Integrated Process Teams (IPTs) and Financial Management Office (FMO) compliance team to schedule audit walk-thru events with external independent auditor
• Ensure completion of process briefing material needed for audit walk thrus
• Participate in weekly Audit update meetings with FMO compliance team
• Coordinate with PMO IPTs and FMO compliance team to create Corrective Action Plan (CAP)s for any audit findings
• Monitor weekly, monthly and quarterly audit request taskers to comply with defined Control Activities
• Complete corrective actions for any internal findings found by FMO compliance team
• Process user requests for authorized and privileged access to application and support tools
