As a Senior Audit Manager, you will provide best in class audit, consulting and compliance services, as well as oversee day-to-day operations of engagements. In this role, you will work closely with the team to advise clients on various regulatory risks, as well as identify solutions for accounting, audit or other related challenges. This role will maintain relationships with a diverse client base in various industries and assist firm leadership in identifying new opportunities and assist in obtaining new engagements. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting
  • Minimum of eight years of public accounting experience
  • CPA certification
  • Ability to extract, analyze, visualize and present data
  • Strong leadership, training and mentoring skills

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain strong client relationships on various audit and consulting/compliance engagements
  • Demonstrate knowledge of technical accounting and financial reporting standards, applying industry knowledge and expertise
  • Lead the development of the audit approach, applying applicable standards and firm audit methodology
  • Manage engagement workflow and engagement team resources
  • Provide a coordinated client service approach, working with other practice units to provide industry knowledge and insight to clients in a variety of industries
  • Review engagement profitability and prepare and analyze monthly billing for assigned engagements
  • Demonstrate strong analytical skills and working knowledge of accounting software
  • Provide leadership, counseling and career guidance for the development and motivation of the engagement team
  • Represent firm and build relationships by attending fundraisers, meetings with prospects/bankers, charitable events, professional organizations, etc.
  • Aid in identifying opportunities and developing strategies for entry into new markets and clients
