About The Position

We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Senior Audio/Visual Technician to join our AV collaborations team to support and enhance the daily AV operations within our healthcare organization. This role is responsible for managing high-profile events, providing AV support across multiple campuses, troubleshooting complex AV issues, along with day-to-day operations tasks. The ideal candidate possesses advanced technical expertise, strong leadership capabilities, and the ability to work in a fast-paced healthcare environment. This position will be based out of NewYork-Presbyterian/Columbia at 168th Street. Hours will be from 7:30am-4:00pm.

Requirements

• ITIL Certification.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• Advanced expertise in PC, Mac, and network troubleshooting.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office, Zoom, and AV conferencing platforms.
• Excellent communication (oral and written), customer service, and problem-solving skills.
• Must be punctual and dedicated to schedule commitments.

Nice To Haves

• 4+ years of experience in AV support, event production, or a similar role.
• Advanced knowledge of integrated AV systems (Cisco, Crestron, Extron, Shure, Biamp, etc.).
• Experience managing AV infrastructure in a corporate or healthcare environment.
• Industry certifications (Cisco, Crestron, Extron, Shure, etc. certifications preferred).
• Knowledge of broadcasting, live streaming, and post-production workflows.
• CTS (Certified Technology Specialist) certification.
• Cisco CCNP Collaboration Certification.
