About The Position
The Senior Attorney position involves performing services of considerable complexity and impact on a broad range of legal and policy matters. The candidate will provide expert legal and policy advice to executives and managers in areas of business law, open meeting law, and public records law. The role includes representing the District or SNWA in complex litigation cases, administrative hearings, and specialized multi-party negotiations. The ideal candidate should have a broad range of legal experience, preferably in administrative law, utility law, environmental law, contracts, or regulatory compliance. They should also possess excellent legal research and writing skills, strong problem-solving abilities, and the capacity to analyze complex legal and policy issues effectively.
