About The Position

Under minimal supervision, the Senior ATM Operations Lead ensures that all cash replenishments are performed as scheduled and that all emergency cash requests are completed within 24 business hours. This role involves providing daily cash schedules to vendors, reconcilers, and cash handlers, as well as weekly reporting to designated areas. The lead routinely audits assigned cash points for data accuracy, abnormal forecasts, demand, and recommendations. Prompt escalation of unresolved issues to vendors and keeping management informed is crucial. The position requires professional interaction with both internal and external customers. The incumbent is responsible and accountable for risk management by openly exchanging ideas and opinions, elevating concerns, and adhering to defined policies and procedures. They are accountable for prioritizing customer and colleague well-being, ensuring actions and behaviors foster a positive customer experience, and consistently identifying, assessing, managing, monitoring, and reporting risks within the Bank's risk appetite.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum of one year with Opticash Cash Management software, or a comparable forecasting application utilizing database tables.
  • Proficiency in understanding complex relationships.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks.
  • Proficiency in Windows-based computer applications.
  • Strong verbal and written skills.

  • Ability to interface with Senior Management.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee currency status of both onsite & offsite ATMs, as well as all banking centers and bank marts.
  • Generate a daily cash schedule for cash replenishment of ATMs & banking centers.
  • Document all updates (changes, installs, deinstalls, etc.) pertaining to a cash point within all software applications.
  • Facilitate issue resolution with vendors related to missed deliveries, unscheduled deliveries, and any other problems associated with a cash point. Escalate when appropriate.
  • Research and establish Federal Reserve Access for regions without a cash supplier. Provide any necessary information to the cash vault for this purpose.
  • Analyze the cash demand and replenishment trends for each assigned cash point, adjusting forecasting variables when necessary.
  • Identify cost efficiencies, quality improvements and revenue generating opportunities.
  • Responsible for prioritizing work and delegating tasks to ensure proper coverage of functions.
  • Provide balancing cards to vendors upon request.
  • Coordinate vault orders for all offsite ATM's that will ultimately supply the cash handlers with the funds necessary to replenish a cash point, base upon the time interval designated by the cash schedule.
  • Attend regular conference calls and meetings with the vendors and cash handlers concerning issues and updates to current and future cash points.
  • Oversee training of new hires, ensuring a full understanding of department and bank procedures.
  • Represent ATM Operations on projects and provide feedback as needed.
  • Manage emergency cash issues with offsite ATM's on weekends and weekdays as required.
  • Communicate to vendors and escalate as necessary.
  • Facilitate stamp process for all offsite/onsite ATM's.
  • Communicate daily offsite/onsite performance
  • Participate in bank conversions as required.
  • Manage outstanding cash in offsite vaults.
  • Represent ATM Operations on weekly deinstall/install meetings.
  • Communicate updates to staff as cash analysts as required.
