About The Position
The Senior Associate/Vice President - Power and Utilities, Investment Banking is responsible for providing structure, marketing and execution activities supporting senior members of the team. This role involves working within a deal team under the overall direction of a senior officer, researching and analyzing clients' financial situations, industry and market data, and mergers and acquisition opportunities. The position requires valuing private and public companies, performing complex financial and M&A modeling, and preparing external client proposals and internal underwriting memos. Additionally, the role includes preparing client presentations, assisting with client negotiations and documentation, and providing transactional and marketing support at a professional level. The candidate will also be responsible for developing and maintaining contacts with market participants and ensuring accuracy while overseeing junior colleagues.
