We are seeking an experienced and motivated individual to join our team as a Varicent Sales Performance Management (SPM) / Incentive Compensation Management (ICM) Administrator and Developer. In this role, you will be responsible for managing, configuring, and enhancing the Varicent SPM software application to ensure efficient commission processing and reporting. You will also work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to deliver reliable, scalable solutions that streamline processes, improve cycle times, and ensure accuracy. This position provides a unique opportunity to drive innovation and contribute to process improvement initiatives within the organization.

  • Support the administration and maintenance of the Varicent SPM commission software application.
  • Configure the application to meet business requirements, including enhancements, optimizations, and bug fixes.
  • Manage the full software development life cycle, including requirements gathering, solution design, development, testing, deployment, integration, and documentation.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop solutions that eliminate manual processes, improve efficiency, and ensure accurate results.
  • Create and publish dynamic dashboards and reports for commission insights and performance tracking.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues to maintain system reliability.
  • Contribute to process improvement initiatives by identifying opportunities for optimization and automation.
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • At least 5 years of software development experience, including a minimum of 2 years working with Varicent Incentive Compensation Management (ICM).
  • Demonstrated experience in the insurance domain, with a strong understanding of insurance terminology, particularly in Life Insurance.
  • Expertise in design, development, and testing of ETL processes and methodologies within a data warehousing environment.
  • Strong SQL skills, including query optimization, performance tuning, and report development.
  • Prior experience in business analysis and technical documentation for Varicent ICM projects.
  • Proficiency in Agile development methodologies and participation in Agile ceremonies.
  • Advanced skills in JavaScript, debugging, troubleshooting, and performance optimization.
  • Proven ability to solve complex technical problems and quickly assimilate new information.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on process optimization.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver high-quality results under tight deadlines.
