About The Position
Our AmLaw 100 client is hiring a senior transactional tax associate for a national team that sits in the middle of headline deals. This is a true platform move: deep bench, real volume, and tax lawyers who are brought in early, not at the cleanup stage. This is a senior associate seat with real responsibility and direct deal exposure.
Requirements
- Minimum 4 years of law firm experience focused on transactional tax
- Comfort advising deal teams and business principals, not just drafting memos after the fact
- Experience across M&A, partnership structures, and sponsor -side work is strongly preferred
- Bar admission in at least one US jurisdiction
Responsibilities
- Run point on transactional tax across:
- Domestic and cross -border M&A
- Partnership tax planning
- Private equity fund formation work
- Capital markets and financing transactions
