About The Position

L3Harris is looking for Systems Engineers to help us design, develop, integrate, test innovative electronic system solutions to our customers and support their on-going operations. The ideal candidate would demonstrate expertise in RF systems, RF technology, and algorithms (linear and non-linear) to enable new RF products, services, and RF business development for government customers and programs.

Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree and minimum 2 years of prior relevant experience. Graduate Degree and a minimum of 0 - 2 years of prior related experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 6 years of prior related experience.
Active security clearance
Experience with commercial RF/EE test equipment/devices (e.g. signal generator, spectrum analyzer, oscilloscope, network analyzer, attenuators, amplifiers, etc.)
Experience generating requirements at various levels of the system and flowing down requirements to sub-systems/sub-components.

Nice To Haves

Experience with Requirements generation and ability to interpret and evaluate requirements from the customer and breakdown for lower level assemblies
Experience with data analysis and/or modeling and simulation (e.g. with MATLAB/python)
Experience on Hardware Environmental and EMI Qualification testing efforts
Experience with concepts in signal processing, logic design, computer architecture.
Experience working on aerospace/defense electronic systems (e.g. electronic warfare systems, radar, missile guidance, missile defense)
Experience in the System Design of Embedded System Architectures
Familiarity with Digital Engineering, sysML/Model Based System Engineering (MBSE), and System Simulation
Understanding of Cyber Security best practices
Organized and detail-oriented

Support/lead data analysis and modeling and simulation to find underlying root cause of issue and/or to guide design
Present work to multi-disciplinary team and internal/external customers
