Led by a successful and experienced entrepreneurial team, RayzeBio aims to be the global leader in radiopharmaceuticals The role offers an opportunity to conduct in vivo imaging studies (Positron Emission Tomography and Single Photon Emission Computed Tomography) to understand the in vivo behavior of potential RPT therapies. The role is highly technical and will need a person with deep technical in the operation of imaging systems, data processing, and able to work under tight timelines. The role requires an ability and willingness to work with radioactive isotopes.

Requirements

  • BS or MS in Veterinarian Science, Biology, Biomedical Sciences, Radiological Sciences or a related field with significant portion of work that demonstrates a hands-on familiarity with animal handling techniques.
  • 5 years of post BS or 3 years post MS of experience in pharmaceutical/biotech R&D environments
  • Extensive knowledge of animal handling/dosing techniques.
  • Excellent communication skills in a teamwork setting.
  • Uses AI tools to enhance individual productivity and quality of work

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in working on nuclear medicine imaging modalities such as Positron Emission Tomography (PET), Single Photon Emission Computed Tomography (SPECT), or Computed Tomography (CT) is highly desirable.
  • Hands-on experience in nuclear imaging modalities such as SPECT, CT, PET are highly desired.

Responsibilities

  • Operate nuclear medicine imaging modalities (Positron Emission Tomography [PET] and Single Photon Emission Computed Tomography [SPECT]) in accordance with established SOPs to support screening, efficacy characterization, and lead identification of novel radiopharmaceutical therapy (RPT) agents.
  • Partner closely with In Vivo scientists to support animal study preparation, specialized housing, monitoring, and overall in vivo experimental needs.
  • Collaborate with Imaging Scientists to execute imaging studies, including animal handling, identification/marking, and physical monitoring throughout imaging procedures.
  • Perform dosing, animal handling and monitoring, and collect blood and tissue samples as required for imaging studies.
  • Maintain imaging lab at the highest operational and compliance standards and manage inventory and supply ordering.
